Traditional Food Pantry, Friday, May 8th, from 9:30 to 11:00. All are welcome!

The May food pantries will take place on Friday the 8th (traditional) and Friday the 22nd (TEFAP). If you do not qualify (or have not signed up) for TEFAP, you can still get food at the TEFAP Food Pantry. All are welcome!

We’re celebrating a decade of tradition at the Sandy Mush Community Center, and you’re invited! Whether you have a green thumb or just love a good community festival, there’s something for everyone.

📅 WHEN: Saturday, May 16, 2026
🕚 TIME: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 WHERE: Sandy Mush Community Center (SMCC)
🌿 THE MAIN EVENT: The Plant Exchange

Bring your extra plants and starts to trade, or come pick out some new ones for your garden! Last year we gave away over 1,000 plants—let's make this year even bigger! Huge thanks to our local nurseries for their incredible support.

🌭 FESTIVAL BITES
Come hungry! We’ll have:
"Lisa’s Festival Favorites" from the SMCC Kitchen
Veggie wraps and bites from Grateful Roots Market & Deli
Sweet treats at the Youth Bake Sale
The legendary Youth Cakewalk!

🏆 FUN & GAMES
The Great Rope Pull: Assemble your team for our 10th annual tug-of-war!
Science Fair: Check out amazing displays from local students.
Kids’ Zone: Plenty of fun, kid-friendly games.
History & Music: MC Jim will be on the mic all day, and don't miss the Sandy Mush History presentation with Greg and Joyce.

🎟️ COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Shop our local vendors! All proceeds from the festival directly benefit the Sandy Mush Community Center and our Youth Program.
