⚠️ Widespread Internet & App Outage Today ⚠️

If your favorite apps or smart devices are acting up — you’re not alone. A major Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage has been disrupting apps and websites across the country, including right here in Northeast Pennsylvania.

🧭 Where it started:
The problem began in Amazon’s US-East-1 data center (Northern Virginia), which handles much of the internet traffic for the eastern U.S.

📱 What’s affected:
• Snapchat
• Signal
• Fortnite
• Canva
• Coinbase
• Amazon Alexa & Ring devices
• Amazon.com and Prime Video
• Plus many other apps and sites that rely on AWS servers

💡 What to know:
Amazon says services are “showing strong signs of recovery”, but users may still see login errors, slow loading, or connectivity issues as systems reset.

If your apps, streaming, or smart devices aren’t working — don’t panic. It’s not your Wi-Fi — it’s a nationwide cloud issue that should be clearing up soon.

📌 Attention hunters! Round 2 starts next week for bonus antlerless licenses for residents and nonresidents on a first-come, first-served basis. Hunters are eligible to hold up to six antlerless licenses total, except in WMUs 5C and 5D which allow for up to nine more antlerless licenses per hunter – totaling no more than 15 antlerless licenses.
