There are many animals that we care for that we don’t get to share with the public.

We are currently housing a room filled with Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and a Pigeon.

It’s difficult to keep supplies in stock among all of the other things we need on a daily basis and we’re not used to having small animals, a Pigeon no less , in the building !!

If you can help with Rabbit Bedding, oxbow rabbit food, guinea pig food, or Timothy hay, please do ❤️

Just because we can’t show you these babies doesn’t mean they don’t need you just as much !

🚨 UPDATE: Information Regarding the Recent House Fire 🚨

We would like to provide updated information and answer some of the common questions we have received regarding the family affected by the recent house fire:

PAK Pediatric Locations in Kingston, MountainTop, Pittston, and Clarks Summit are accepting donations for the family. Non-perishable items as far as food go can be dropped off as well.

A meal train will be post in the days to come.

** DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING RESPONSE FROM OUR COMMUNITY WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT USED CLOTHING. We appreciate the amazing response from our community greatly during this time. We are still accepting NEW shoes for each victim of this fire as well as toys . Other donations still being accepted are gift cards and Nonperishable items!

BACK MOUNTAIN FOSTERS NEEDED!

We are assisting with a very bad hoarding case. In order to help as many as we can, we NEED fosters. What we know:

🐶 Small mixed breed dogs of all ages. Most under 20lbs. Fosters mainly needed for puppies under 8 weeks of age - litters must stay together.
🐱 Cats of all ages. Fosters mainly needed for nursing mothers and kittens that do not need to stay with mom.

Requirements:
• All animals in home MUST be spayed, neutered, and up to date on vaccines (cats must be tested as well)
• Separate area in the home for the foster(s) to stay in
• Ability to bring foster(s) to vet appointments or back to the shelter on weekdays so that we can transport
• Ability to bring foster(s) to the shelter for meet and greets when ready
• Allow check-ins and the ability to keep frequent, prompt communication with the shelter

Blue Chip covers all supplies and medical needs.
