We partner with individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits to support local causes and strengthen Carbon County, PA. The Carbon County Community Foundation enables people of all income levels to make a difference in our community and leave a lasting legacy. Donors can establish a permanent endowment fund or make a gift of any size to an existing fund to benefit Carbon County.

Dolly’s legacy lives on in Carbon County. ❤️

When Dolly Parton created the Imagination Library, she had a simple vision: help children develop a love of reading by putting books directly into their hands.

In 2021, the Carbon County Community Foundation brought that vision to our community thanks to our local donors and through a partnership with St. Luke’s University Health Network – Carbon Campus and the Dollywood Foundation.

Today, more than 1,300 Carbon County children receive a free book every month through Imagination Library Carbon County.

We’re honored to help carry Dolly’s vision forward and grateful to our donors and partners who make it possible for local families to participate at no cost.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dolly Parton, whose generosity, compassion, and belief in the power of books have touched millions of children and families.

Here in Carbon County, we are honored to carry forward a small part of Dolly’s incredible legacy through our partnership with the Dollywood Foundation and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

Thanks to the generous support of our local sponsors and our partnership with St. Luke's University Health Network - Carbon Campus, children throughout Carbon County receive a free, high-quality book every month. We are grateful to be part of Dolly’s vision and look forward to continuing this program in her honor—reaching thousands of local children with the gift of a book every month.

Dolly’s legacy will live on in every child who opens a book, discovers a new story, and learns to dream a little bigger. ❤️📚

As a new school year begins across Carbon County, we’re wishing all of our students a wonderful first week—and a fantastic year ahead! 📚✏️

Whether it’s your first day of kindergarten, your senior year, or somewhere in between, we hope this year brings plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, make new friends, discover new interests, and create great memories.

We’re excited to announce this year’s four nonprofit finalists, selected by a committee of 20/20 Circle members from a strong pool of applications. Thank you to our committee members for generously sharing their time and perspective!

Each finalist will present their project at the 20/20 Circle Annual Meeting & Grants Dinner on October 14 at Blue Mountain Resort, where 20/20 Circle members will vote to determine which project receives this year’s $6,000 grant.
