SLIE, Inc. Hello! We are a family of 6 who have decided the best way to spread the word about living green is to be a living example ourselves.

SLIE is a non-profit organization that is centered around teaching and giving hands on experience in leading a more self sufficient and sustainable life through green and Permaculture. We are SLIE or Sustainable Living and Interconnected Education, a Non-Profit organization, built around, green or sustainable living, Permaculture, Education in the Community and of course nature! We started SLIE as

a means of outreach and connection to the community around us to interact with like minded individuals and share our knowledge and experience with one another. We have just re-located to Lehigh Acres, FL and are currently converting our thirsty lawn into a food producing, lush garden, with TONS of Non-GMO,pesticide free AND Organic plants to live off of. We will expand into aquaponics, rain water collection, and small farm animals to aid in food production in the future. LIKE us on Facebook to keep up on all our recent activities, and future workshops for when you are in the SW Florida area HERE. At this point, we work with community members, and FGCU (Florida Gulf Coast University) students as volunteers.
