Resiliency plays a large part in how an individual copes with trauma. Even those who have suffered severe life situations can have it within them to move beyond.
This does not mean there are not still negative effects of the trauma plaguing that person; he/she just has not allowed the situation to destroy them.

“The enemy has tried to knock you down and keep you down through your relationships with other people. In order to disable his weapons in this area, relinquish all soul ties into My hands and trust in Me and Me alone.

“Many of My children are languishing in painful prisons of their own making because of having placed their dependence, value, and stability into the hands of sinful flesh. They cry out to Me to come to save them, expecting Me to place within the hearts of their idols those things they need for life and life abundant. Things which I never intended to be sought and found outside of Myself. I will not answer prayers motivated by idolatry. Be aware that soulish prayers, not motivated by My Spirit, invite spiritual forces of darkness to operate in your situation and relationships.

“Allow Me to be your everything. I am all that you need. Find your worth in the price I was willing to pay to have you near Me. Your value to Me is immeasurable, because My love for you has no bounds. Your purpose is assigned by Me, directed by Me, and can only be accomplished through Me. Your beauty is bestowed on you by My hand, and apart from Me it fades and becomes obsolete. Your strength separated from Me, is weakness. There is no light in you that does not originate in Me. Without My life flowing through your veins, you have no life. I am your life. Without My breath you are but dust. I am the source of every good thing; food, water, shelter, righteousness, peace, joy, love, faith and hope; all these things come from My hand.

“I long for you. My thoughts are always on how I can use everything that has come against you for your good. Nothing about you and your life escapes My notice. I created you and created a custom plan for your life before the foundation of the world. I delight to do you good. You are the apple of My eye and the crown of My creation. You are created to be an object of My love. I have chosen you. Choose Me. Choose Me each day. Choose to put Me first. Choose to love Me most. Choose to trust Me, the unchangeable One, over those things that are changeable.

“Believe in My love. Believe in My words—I have promised you life and life abundant. Stop going to empty cisterns to quench your thirst and drink deeply from the rivers of My Spirit of love and grace. Trust Me. I know what I am doing in your life. Trust your life into My hands. Fix your eyes on Me, focus your energy on walking in obedience to My words and in My ways. Stop blaming Me for the lack of love and support you receive from other people. I am your source. I am looking for people that are willing vessels to be used to share My love and feed other people with My abundant life that is flowing to and through them. You concern yourself with being that vessel; allow Me to cleanse your motivation. Everything you do, do it for My glory, to glorify My name.

“I will move Heaven and earth to find those whose hearts are right towards Me and circumcise the hearts of those I have ordained to be in your life, in order that your seeds of purely motivated love will bear fruit in your human relationships when, where and how I decide is best for you.

“I am jealous over you. I want all of your relationships to be nothing more to you than an extension of our relationship. I want to be the source, reason, and motivation of everything, everything you are and everything you do. Let Me get close to you and I will show you what I am made of. I will exceed your wildest expectations and fulfill your deepest desires. I bought you with the price of My own Blood. I gave My life for you. You belong to Me.”

Due to unforeseen circumstances Sister Talk was not held last month, but we are back. We will be meeting on Saturday October 31, at 10:a.m. sharp as we continue to work on learning to love the us that God made. See you there. No tricks, just plenty of treats for everyone!

So we had a WONDERFUL inaugural Sister Talk on Saturday. We had a full house, more than I expected, but when God is in the midst it must prosper. Everyone was truly blessed from young girls to older women. It was awesome. But we forgot to take pictures. So I'm still crying about that. I guess everyone was having too good of a discussion to worry about posing for pics. To God be the Glory. There will be pictures for August's event though. Thanks to everyone who supported. Sholanda, you rock!!
