Hello Friends and Family
I'm reaching out with an urgent and incredibly meaningful request for our annual mission with Wreaths Across America.
This year, our focus is honoring our fallen heroes at Fort Douglas Cemetery in Salt Lake City. Every December, thousands of volunteers lay wreaths on veterans' graves as a powerful, simple act of remembrance and gratitude. We need your immediate help to make sure every veteran's headstone at Fort Douglas is covered.
Fort Douglas was the first Military Cemetery established in Utah in 1862. Veterans there have served in every major conflict from the Indian Wars to the War on Terror. Also burried there is Territorial Governor James Duane Doty (1863-1865)
Our Goal and Our Challenge:
Our goal is to sponsor 1,180 wreaths by the end of the month. Unfortunately, we are currently far short of that target.
As of today, we have only secured 275 wreaths, which is just 20% of what we need for the entire cemetery.
We have until November 30th to close this gap and ensure all our veterans' markers at Fort Douglas are honored. This is a race against the calendar, and every single sponsorship makes a critical difference.
Join the Ceremony:
After we meet our goal, you are warmly invited to join us for the formal wreath laying ceremony:
Date: Saturday, December 13th, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Fort Douglas Post Theater (followed by the laying of wreaths at the cemetery)
Public Welcome: Please feel free to attend and participate.
How You Can Help Today:
A single wreath sponsorship costs just $17.
Sponsor a Wreath: Click here to donate directly to our Fort Douglas campaign:Wreaths Across America Donations
Share the Link: Please share this email and the donation link with your network to help us reach that 100% goal.
Every wreath laid is a promise that a veteran's service will never be forgotten. Will you join me in honoring our heroes at Fort Douglas this holiday season?
Thank you so much for your support.
