Help assemble 4-H Care Kits for Puerto Rico 4-Hers! We all know 4-Hers have a big heart – it’s one of the four H’s! The PR 4-H Support Task Force has learned that the PR 4-H Program would like to assist its 4-H families. Judith Conde, PR 4-H Program Leader has indicated that many families have lost everything. She has identified a location to send the following items for 4-H Care Kits, which she will distribute to 4-H families across the island. Your contributions will mean a great deal to the 4-H members of Puerto Rico because they are from the heart!

4-H Care Kits
4-H t-shirts
Blankets
Sleeping bags
Hand and bath towels
Hygiene Kits: dental brush, tooth paste, dental floss, soap, shampoo, hair brush, sanitary napkins, hand or baby wipes, deodorant, hand sanitizer, insect repellents
First Aid Kits
Small flash lights
School supplies: notebooks, pencils, crayons, coloring books
Table games
Energy bars, granola bars, dried fruits

Mail the items to:
Servicio de Extensión Agricola
Attn. Judith Conde
Calle Ceiba 1204 Jardín Botanico Sur
San Juan PR 00926-1120.

Some county 4-H programs or clubs may choose to collect only certain items and may designate a collection location. We encourage local programs to contribute as they see most appropriate. USPS flat rate boxes are an economical shipping option for the smaller items. We also recommend, when these services are operational, that folks consider on-line ordering and direct shipment via vendors such as National 4-H Supply, Amazon and Walmart (in store pick up). But as of right now those are not operational for Puerto Rico.
At this time, we are NOT accepting cash donations. The PR 4-H Program is unable to accept donations, and we are working on establishing another mechanism for those contributions. We do anticipate announcing a mechanism to accept cash donations in another week or so.

Something to consider participating in!!
