Isaiah 40:31 has guided me since my teens. God has shown me again and again that when my hope is in Him, strength is renewed and He brings the “Ta‑Da” moments only He can.
As we step into 2026, may we keep hoping, keep trusting, and keep soaring. ✨

✨ Nurturing Your Soul in Busy Seasons ✨
Life and ministry can pull us in so many directions, and I recently learned—through an unexpected ankle fracture—that busyness can quietly replace intimacy with God. Slowing down reminded me that He wants more than our service… He wants our hearts.
In my latest post, I’m sharing what God taught me in that season and 3 simple ways to stay grounded in His Word, even when life feels full.

Scripture reminds us that “the joy of the Lord is your strength.” God invites us to celebrate, to forgive, and to step forward with confidence because He carries us through every hard place.

As we enter 2026, may Psalm 27 encourage your heart:
“Be brave and courageous. Wait patiently for the Lord.”

Here’s to growth, forgiveness, and God‑given courage in the new year. 💛✨

✨ Better Together Retreats ✨
This past year’s theme, “Anchors for the Journey,” reminded us how God holds us steady—no matter how much life pulls at us. ⚓️💛
Pastor’s wives came together for rest, worship, good food, laughter, tears, and the gift of true connection. The testimonies say it best: renewed strength, refreshed spirits, and the reminder that we’re not alone in this ministry journey.

Ladies—if you’ve never taken time for a soul-care weekend, maybe this year is your year. You deserve it. 💕

Ministry is a calling—but it can also place a heavy strain on marriage.

From unrealistic expectations to blurred boundaries and emotional exhaustion, pastoral couples often face pressures that few people ever see.

In our latest blog, we highlight 5 major challenges pastors and their spouses commonly face:

💬 Unrealistic expectations—from the congregation, from ourselves, and even from one another.
⏰ Unreasonable demands on time—being “on-call” 24/7 leaves little room for connection.
💔 Unexpected neglect and loneliness—when ministry becomes an unintentional “mistress.”
🏖️ Blurred lines between work and personal time—vacations and rest often sacrificed.
😓 Emotional toll—caring so deeply for others can leave nothing left for your own relationship.

Each challenge comes with practical suggestions to help protect your marriage while remaining faithful to your calling.

Pastors, you are not alone.
Care for Pastors is here to support you every step of the way.

Do what you know is right, regardless of how you feel.
As a pastor’s wife, have you ever felt like you just can’t do it all anymore? You’re not alone.

There was a season in my life when I didn’t feel like going to church, reading my Bible, or even being the “joyful” person everyone expected. I was depressed. But I held on to this truth: walk by faith, not by sight.

If you’re struggling today, remember:
✔ It’s okay to seek counseling or medical help.
✔ Take care of your mental health.
✔ Spend time in God’s presence and let Him minister to you.
You are not alone in this journey. Read the full blog for encouragement and practical steps to care for your soul and mind.

Why We Exist

Pastors have many responsibilities, and with those responsibilities come many challenges. Often, pastors lack the relational support needed to overcome these challenges, which leaves them vulnerable to a wide variety of issues they cannot cope with on their own. Issues such as Empathy Fatigue, Marital Challenges and Church Conflict are driving many pastoral families to the brink of quitting ministry. As a result, hundreds of pastoral families are walking away from ministry every single month. That means hundreds of churches will be without a shepherd leader and hundreds of communities will lose a positive, uniting influence for the Gospel. In order to finish well, pastors need a safe place that will be non-judgmental, and a place that will provide encouragement, counsel, and accountability. This will enable them to live and serve out of spiritual, emotional, and relational health and well-being. Our Mission at Care for Pastors is to uphold pastoral families in ministry by providing them the safest place to turn, an ongoing relationship of encouragement and counsel, and resources that ignite growth in the pastor’s family, church and community. In fulfilling our Mission we will be able to achieve our Vision, which is to see every pastoral family persevering in ministry, developing a healthy church and leading in community transformation.
