Ever wonder why a fire engine or ladder truck responds with an ambulance to a medical emergency?
Fire apparatus is often closer and can get help started before the ambulance arrives. They might even be staffed by a higher level of care than the ambulance responding. Many of our members go above and beyond the EMT level by obtaining advanced certifications such as Advanced EMT and Paramedic, allowing them to provide a higher level of medical care to the community.
