Mike Donnellan Named Head Coach of the 14U Team for the 2026–2027 Season!
The Little Caps organization is proud to announce that Executive Director Mike Donnellan has been named Head Coach of the 2012 team for the upcoming 2026–2027 season.
Coach Donnellan takes over a 2012 squad that has delivered an exceptional performance this year, recently punching its ticket to the Southeast District Tournament. They are currently 41-17-3 this season and have been nationally ranked in the 20’s all year.
Known for his high-tempo practices, elite bench management, and ability to bring out the best in his players, Donnellan’s coaching style emphasizes pace, accountability, and structure. His vision has guided the Little Caps organization into a flourishing era marked by major facility upgrades, the addition of elite coaching staff, expanded practice ice availability, the launch of Sq**rt AAA hockey, and the establishment of TPH as a daytime academy partner.
With Donnellan at the helm, the 2012 team is poised to build on its current momentum and solidify itself as a team to be reckoned with on the national stage.
The Little Caps community looks forward to an exciting 2026–2027 season and the continued development of its student-athletes under Donnellan’s leadership.

Congrats to our WLC 16U and 14U teams on big wins over Team Maryland and punching their tickets to the Southeast Districts in Nashville, TN.

Now it’s the 13U’s turn — come out this Tuesday at 7:10pm at ION and Rock the Red to support the WLC 13U squad. Winner takes all for a chance to earn their spot at Districts. Let’s pack the rink!
