22 years ago... my heart was robbed of me by MoonShine Mountain Farm Nichole Crofoot- Stinson....
I was in a bad space in my head and didn't think I had a heart left, too many things had gone on around me. That smile was like a life saver thrown to a drowning man.
I can't say that over the decades I didn't end up residing in dark places - years of war and conflict, travel and danger - just piling on the mental and emotional stress of PTSd.
Partnerships are difficult and she has been an absolute dream. We rode some rough waters and she has always been there.
If God allows, I'll be lucky enough to be with her for a couple decades more....
I certainly don't deserve her, but... I'll humbly accept.

This past Memorial Day weekend.. I had the honor of conducting a Toast to the Fallen ceremony at 4Js Farm and Brewery in Warrenton VA. The gentlemen to my side is Kenneth Richard, a brother from another mother and decades of memories and times together. Every Memorial Day Ken and a crew, including his Brother Joe would ride to DC for the Rolling Thunder/Rolling To Remember event. This year, he detoured from his rally with his guys in Gettysburg and paid me a visit.

Ahhh, my Brother Kev.. met him at a wedding of another Special Forces brother (Guggs) in LA back in the early 90's. That wedding.. a wedding celebration to beat many if not all - led to a serious of lifelong brotherhoods with some amazing people.

A few years back on a return from a gathering of the motorcycle club I was with, a Chapter of us stopped at Billy's place in TN and were welcomed with open arms.

What a great individual, a great Brother and a Man of Christ.
