The Catoctin Elementary school PTA uses this page as a tool to stay in touch with parents. We offer reminders about upcoming events, due dates, and fundraising opportunities. New ideas (and new volunteers to implement them) are always welcome! We welcome your involvement!

Did you know you could order school supplies for next year now, sit back and relax all summer and then when you show up in August, your supplies will be there for you?

We love our staff and appreciate all they do every single day! To wrap up Staff Appreciation Week, we held our gift card raffle and hope our amazing staff scored some fun surprises! 🕶️🎁✨

And now for the MVP shoutouts for making this week happen! 💿✨
This totally rad week would not have been possible without so many awesome helpers:

Our staff is All That and A Bag of Chips!

Staff Appreciation Week is underway! We celebrated with a breakfast on Monday and our snack cart made its way around the school today for staff to pick some tasty treats!

Thank you all for the donations to help make it all possible!

Congratulations to all our Cardinals that ran the Greenway this weekend! We finished second with the most runners, so we will receive $2,500!

We also have the fastest boy runner in all of Elementary and the fastest girl runner out of elementary and middle!! Go Cardinals!

It is almost time to spoil our staff!! Thank you so much for all the donations that have already come in!

We will be collecting tomorrow at the Kiss & Ride. If you are unable to make it, feel free to reach out and you can drop off over the weekend. (emails in the sign ups below)

We still need a few more gift cards to help make sure all our staff can get a fun surprise on Friday!

We’re rewinding to the raddest decade ever—the 90s! 🙌 Get ready for a week packed with throwback fun as we celebrate the staff who totally rock our school every single day.

Think neon vibes, old-school jams, and plenty of ways to say “THANK YOU” to our amazing team. 💛 From start to finish, it’s going to be all that!

Keep your eyes open for how you can join in and help us show our staff some major love—because they deserve all the hype! 🎉

Thank you all for a wonderful evening of Art and Spaghetti!! We hope you all had a great time!

Raffle Numbers have been pulled for most of the baskets!

As a reminder-Parents must pick up baskets from the front office during the regular school day. Matching coupons must be turned in at the time of pickup. Baskets must be picked up by Friday, May 1. After May 1, we will redraw any unclaimed baskets. Keep your tickets for the chance at a redraw winner!

Save the date! Catoctin's first ever Sweetheart dance will be on Friday, February 20th at the LCHS cafeteria! See attached flyer for more information, and more communications to come. This event is open to all Catoctin students & family!
