We are a club that unites women to volunteer and make a difference in the community. Today, the club still strives to meet these goals by encouraging its members to develop their talents and interests through a variety of service projects and fundraisers. Membership in the Junior Woman's Club of Loudoun provides an opportunity for volunteer work in a group that derives much of its strength from "u
nity in diversity" (the motto of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC), our international organization. We are dedicated to developing the talents, abilities, and skills of each individual who participates. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives and include artists and accountants, computer professionals and professional moms. All are united by the desire to be a positive influence on our community and our world. In addition to our community service efforts, JWCL sponsors membership and social events throughout the year to give clubwomen a chance to get to know each other better and learn more about the group. JWCL is affiliated with the General Federation of Woman's Clubs (GFWC), the oldest and largest women's volunteer organization in the world. We are also a member of the GFWC Virginia and its Northern District. Federation allows our club's influence to be felt at the local, regional, national, and even international levels. The Junior Woman's Club of Loudoun is always open to new members and new ideas. There are many levels of participation and invested time, and membership can be adapted to your personal talents, demands, and interests. Please visit our web site to find out more about who we are and what we have to offer. We also invite you to attend a meeting, every third Tuesday, at any time to meet us face-to-face and find out more about the club (address found under our contact info).
