Lee County Female Minority Mentoring Program

Last night the Lee County Female Minority Mentoring Program was honored by the Lee County Chamber of Commerce as the 2025 Non Profit of the Year. We are truly grateful.

Since 2009, the programs inception, we have awarded more than $76,000 in scholarships and our mentees have achieved a 95% college graduation rate. Many are now successful professional women giving back to their communities and leading with purpose.

This recognition belongs to our founders, mentors, community partners, sponsors and all of our debutantes past, present and future. We are thankful, inspired and ready to keep moving forward with the same heart and commitment that started this program.

Year 17 ✨ Yesterday we inducted 9 new debutantes into the Lee County Female Minority Mentoring Porgram! We’re excited to see what the new debutante season has in store for us all.

Congratulations are in order for Hadiya Ali, Mar’Chantis Brown, Chauntel Butler, Kamille Cutts, Leah Darity, Keilani Farias, Emma Sanchez, Alexis White, and Ashirah Wilson!

Congratulations to Mariah Brown! Last night she was crowned LCHS Homecoming Queen! 👑 Our former Deb, Krystaline Jefferson, had the honor of crowning Mariah. Such a beautiful night!

Our debutantes worshipped together at Pleasant Hill MB Church this past Sunday. Our Community Partner, Pastor Whitaker, delivered a powerful word on “You Dont’t Know My Story.”

After service, the debs had their Etiquette Training led by Dr. Tracy Williams. They learned the proper place setting and how to conduct themselves in social gatherings, especially when food is involved.

The young ladies looked beautiful and had a great time!

Our Debutante Retreat was held today, and we had a great time! The debutantes participated in workshops on whole health, finances, and applying to college. We were blessed to have our guest speaker, Tracy Mallory, lead the finance session. They also played games to get to know their fellow deb sisters and the mentors better. The day ended at Race to Escape with a lot of laughs and smiles.

This event would not have been possible without the support from our Mentors and Community Partners. Thank you for all you do! We're excited for our next event.

We are excited to present our 2023-2024 Debutantes! Our Induction Ceremony was a great way to introduce the girls and their families to the organization and a wonderful way to kickstart our new season.

Our 22-23 Debutante Season has come to an end, and we had an amazing time together. Here are some pictures of the various events hosted the remainder of the season. We are so proud of these young ladies and know they have a very bright future ahead of them!
