The Angel's Share consists of members who donate monthly to support the mission of the VBL Charity Foundation. These generous donors had an opportunity to select a charity barrel at KO Distilling in Manassas, VA. In addition to sampling great whiskey, they learned a little more about our mission, and then had a great tour of the distillery.

Hello VBL!

I wanted to provide you all an update on the current Year-To-Date grants that the VBL Charity Foundation has made with the purpose of maximizing the impact we have in our local community. The VBL Charity Foundation has underwritten and disbursed eight grants worth 13,180 dollars including:

1,420 dollars for ECBP Droids - Backpack Buddies of Loudoun
1,965 dollars for Rebel Alliance - VA Institute for Autism
1,965 dollars for Rebel Alliance - The Trevor Project
1,360 dollars for Chew-chocca - Homeless Animal Rescue Team
1,770 dollars for Raiders of the Lost Rye | VBL Obtainium - Mobile Hope
2,270 dollars for The King's Man - Loudoun Hunger Relief
820 dollars for WBS/VBL KC Bourbon - WBS Charity Foundation
1,610 dollars for 1972 The ProofFather - Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation

All of this is possible due to the generosity of the VBL members who continue to support our picks and to the sustaining donations from the Angel's Share members who are investing in the VBL Charity Foundation's ongoing mission.

The VBL Charity Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises money for a diverse set of charities benefitting children, food banks, women's initiatives, animal welfare, military veterans, LGBTQIA+ support and many other causes. We achieve this by leveraging the generosity of the online whiskey community to "drink for good" through fundraising efforts to help those that are in need. We strive to be a 100% public donation charity where every dollar raised through our fundraising is issued back as grants that benefit our charity partners.
