Always, but especially during the holidays, pay attention to the state of your mental health. Do not be afraid to reach out to someone if you need to talk.
I post this not only because it's important for you to know when to take care of yourself but to admit that I reached out to someone on Sunday. I was struggling with a mind that would not shut down. My focus was nonexistent. i had feelings of fear and imposter syndrome, and knew that this was something I could not deal with on my own. So I sought professional help.
Now, after 3 years, I am back in therapy.
To get my head straight, my mind straight and my life straight. It will be a journey, but one that I know will be good for me and for my family. And I know that the light at the end of this tunnel is sunshine and peace.
I deserve the sunshine and peace. And you deserve the sunshine and peace.
