We discuss how Loudoun is building stronger pathways between classrooms and careers, including internships, job shadowing, project-based learning, and new opportunities across career fields like energy, agriculture, law and public policy, aviation, and more.

Listen on Loudoun Now Voice to hear how LCPS is creating more opportunities for every student to discover their path, build confidence, and step into the future prepared. 🛠️

đź’™Yesterday, we were grateful to host an annual report workshop at the Claude Moore Nonprofit Training Center in partnership with the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce.

Presented by Robin McGlothin, Amy Stirnweis, and Carrie Idol-Richards with Good Plan Group, this session helped nonprofit leaders explore how annual reports can be more than a year-end summary. They can strengthen donor relationships, build trust, and clearly communicate impact in ways that support fundraising and long-term engagement.

Yesterday, the Immigrant Giving Circle, a component fund of the Community Foundation, awarded two $5,000 grants to support organizations making a lasting impact in our community.

Educando con Amor and Dream Project are helping strengthen our community through education, opportunity, and support for immigrant families and youth. Their work reflects the values, resilience, and vision that make Loudoun better for everyone.

We’re grateful to the volunteers and leaders of the Immigrant Giving Circle for the time, care, and commitment they bring to this work, and we’re proud to help grow community giving.

We are grateful to the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and county staff for their continued investment in Loudoun’s nonprofit community through the Human Services Nonprofit Grant Program. As community needs grow, we appreciate the county’s commitment to growing this important program and supporting the organizations serving residents every day.

We are also thankful for the county’s support of the Community Foundation’s nonprofit training and capacity building work as a grantee, helping strengthen local organizations for long-term impact.

Finally, we appreciate the Board’s action to help address critical nonprofit funding gap of $560,187 during a challenging funding environment, to ensure as many organizations possible continue with programs for Loudoun residents.
