From a living room to a thriving church community! 🙌🏾❤️

Today, we had the joy of worshiping with our friends at Moria Free Methodist Church, where more than 180 people gathered for worship, a message, and community!

Here's a fun fact you might not know: Moria FMC began several years ago in the living room of an Agape Pamoja Blessing House! 🏠

What started as a small gathering has grown into a beautiful, thriving congregation that now gathers in its own church building!

It's incredible to see how God has grown this church over the years. More than a building, it's about the people, the relationships, and the faith that continue to make Moria such a special part of the Kansas City community.

What a joy to celebrate all that God is doing through Moria FMC! ❤️

🌱 There’s something pretty special about seeing good things grow.

At the Agape Pamoja International property in Kigoma, Tanzania, the trees and land are producing—and the people who live there get to enjoy the fruit. 🥑🍊🌳

Avocados picked from the tree.
Oranges growing within reach.
Pomegranates waiting to be opened.
Cassava growing in the ground.

It’s simple. It’s everyday life. And we think it’s pretty beautiful.

Because this property was never meant to just be land we own.

It’s meant to be a place where people can live, grow, learn, work, build community—and belong. ❤️

And apparently… snack pretty well, too. 😂

🐇 More than two dozen rabbits—and Robert might be running out of room.

Meet Robert, an entrepreneur in Kigoma, Tanzania, who is putting hard work, creativity, and determination into growing his rabbit business.

For the past two years, Robert has participated in our small-business training, continuing to develop skills that can help strengthen what he’s building.

And Robert is definitely building.

Literally. 😄

He constructed his own rabbit hutch on the church property, and today he’s caring for more than two dozen rabbits. At this rate, we have a feeling an expansion project might be in his future. 🐇🐇🐇

“All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.” — Proverbs 14:23

Robert’s story reminds us of this simple biblical wisdom: there is value in putting our hands to work.

Robert is using what he has, putting his hands to work, learning, building, and faithfully growing what’s in front of him.

And that’s what our small-business training is all about—not doing the work for someone, but coming alongside local entrepreneurs as they develop their own ideas, skills, and opportunities.

Robert is doing the work. Robert is building the business. And we get the privilege of cheering him on. ❤️🌍

What if Sunday became the BEST day of the week for a child?

Over the past two weeks, Agape Pamoja International had the privilege of equipping 15 churches across Tanzania—including 6 church parishes in Nyarugusu Refugee Camp—with Kids Ministry training and supplies.

One of the most exciting moments was watching church leaders EMBRACE a powerful truth: children learn best when they actively participate. They learn by moving, talking, acting, laughing, and engaging with God's Word—not simply by listening.

As ministry leaders practiced interactive games and hands-on teaching methods, a vision began to take hold: church can become the highlight of a child's week.

The impact of this training will extend far beyond these few days. HUNDREDS of children will now experience God's love and truth in ways that are memorable, engaging, and life-changing.

As we wrap up this incredible trip, we're grateful for God's faithfulness. While unexpected travel expenses stretched us beyond our planned budget, we believe in God provision every step of the way through the generosity and prayers of His people.

And we're just getting started.

In the coming days & months, we'll share more stories of what God is doing among refugee families, church partners, and communities throughout Tanzania. We can't wait for you to see it!
