What a year it’s been! From the first day jitters to the last day smiles, we’ve made so many wonderful memories together.

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers, teachers, staff, and families who helped make this school year so special. Your time, support, and dedication are what make PLE such an amazing community.

And to our 5th graders, good luck on your next adventure! We’ll be cheering you on as you head across the street. 💛

What an adventure it was! 💛Another amazing Field Day is in the books, thanks to the one and only Emily Thomas Haines for planning a day full of fun, games, smiles, sno cones and unforgettable memories. The kids had an absolute blast, and the PTA loved being part of the fun.

🌮 Nacho average teachers & staff at PLE! 🐯 💛

Today, PTA treated our amazing teachers & staff to a delicious nacho bar lunch from Habanero's Lee's Summit & restocked the soda bar as part of Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week!

Thank you for everything you do each and every day for our students, families, and school community! We appreciate you more than words can say! 🫶

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week and PLE teachers & staff are truly the very best! 💛🐯

📼💕 Teacher Appreciation Week is going BACK TO THE 90s 💕📼

We’re talking Tamagotchis that needed constant attention (relatable), Discmans that skipped if you walked too fast, and slap bracelets that somehow hurt but we wore anyway 😅
Our teachers show up for our kids every single day and this is our chance to show up BIG for them 💛

This year we’re mixing things up and bringing the fun straight to them:�🛒 VIP Snack Cart & Delivery Service (because they deserve to be treated like the VIPs they are)�🥤 Dirty Soda Bar (think Swig)

No time to shop? No problem! �💸 Send a donation via Venmo: pleasantleapta and PTA will do the shopping for you

Donations can be dropped off at Sarah Metzger’s house - no later than May 2nd!
