Men of Woods Chapel, this one’s for you!

Come hang out for an afternoon of BBQ, football, and fellowship! Enjoy free burgers and hot dogs after ANY of our worship services, a friendly BBQ competition with cash prizes, and the Chiefs game on the big screen in The Gathering Space at noon.

Bring your favorite BBQ to compete, a side or dessert to share if you’re not grilling, a drink, and lawn games if you’d like. No registration required. Just come ready for a great afternoon together!

Sometimes, making a difference starts with simply saying YES!

Rob and Kent said yes to an opportunity to mentor students in the Raytown School District, building relationships, offering encouragement, and investing in the lives of local kids.

Their story is a great reminder that we may never know the full impact our presence or encouragement can have on someone else. But when we say yes and allow God to work through us, He can use us to make a difference in ways we may never see.

Back to school season can feel like A LOT, so we want to make it a little easier for our WC families!

We’ve put together some FREE back to school resources to help your family start the school year strong, including helpful tools, activities, schedules, and encouragement for your kids. Just visit the WC Kids check-in desk to collect your tools!

And if you have a kindergartener, we’d love to celebrate this exciting milestone with you! Join us this Sunday at our 9 AM service for our Kindergarten Backpack Blessing. We’ll also have a photo backdrop ready to capture a special back to school memory!
