Please join us in welcoming Costco to Lee's Summit!

The 166,000-square-foot store is one of the largest in Missouri and features a full-service pharmacy, optical department, hearing aid services, bakery, tire service center, a Costco food court and more!

Costco officially opened to the public at 8 a.m. following the Chamber's ribbon cutting ceremony. Dozens lined up around the building to be the first to shop.

"We welcome Costco with open arms," said Lee's Summit Mayor Beto Lopez at the ceremony. "I think it's not only going to serve our citizens and our community, but also the surrounding area and the region. We welcome them."

This milestone would not have been possible without the vision of Drake Development, along with the dedication and hard work of City administrators who helped bring this project to life.

Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, talent and expertise to making this exciting addition to Lee’s Summit a reality!

Stop by today to shop at 10 SE Oldham Parkway near the intersection of Missouri 291 and US 50.
