The Lakewood Sail & Paddle Club provides residents with access to water-based activities such as sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing since 2001. These activities are not only fun but also great forms of exercise that can help improve physical health and mental wellbeing. Sailing, for instance, requires a combination of physical skills such as strength, coordination, and balance, as wel

l as mental skills such as problem-solving and decision-making. Kayaking and paddle boarding also offer a full-body workout while allowing participants to enjoy the scenic views of the water. Fishing is another activity that can provide relaxation and stress relief. Being out on the water can also offer a sense of tranquility and calmness that can help reduce stress levels and improve mental health. So, it's great to see a club like Lakewood Sail & Paddle Club promoting these water-based activities for the benefit of its residents. Overall, participating in these water-based activities can be an excellent way to have fun, stay healthy, and connect with nature.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Cardboard Boat Race this Saturday, August 9th from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Cove Beach, hosted by the Lakewood Sail & Paddle Club.
