Our Story
Summit Crossings is a community of 131 homes nestled between The Crossing subdivision off Ward Rd and Summit Falls subdivision off Longview Rd in Lee’s Summit, MO. Lee’s Summit is a suburb in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area. Summit Crossings is a neighborhood full of friendly people. Our location is within minutes of great shopping and dining options including Summit Woods, Summit Fair and beautiful downtown Lee’s Summit. Kansas City’s famous Country Club Plaza shopping district is about 20 miles northwest of our neighborhood.
Our subdivision contains a nice mix of original owners, families with children of all ages, empty nesters and young couples. The award winning Lee’s Summit School District draws many people to our area as well as our neighborhood. The children of Summit Crossing attend Pleasant Lea Elementary, Pleasant Lea Middle School, Lee's Summit High School and several Christian Schools.
Summit Crossings encourages a sense of community by sponsoring neighborhood social events. The event calendar includes something for everyone. This year's events featured a Summer Pool Party, Summer Adult Night, Fall Party, Women’s Cookie Exchange, and Wine Tasting. Other events happen informally throughout the year.
The homes association governing board is made up of elected residents who work hard to maintain the neighborhoods beauty and value. Summit Crossings also has several committees made up of volunteer residents who assist the board with other projects.
