Rotary Club of Lee's Summit Rotary International is one of the largest service organizations in the world. The Rotary Club of Lee's Summit lives its motto: "Service above self. Harris.

Founded in 1961, the local Lee's Summit Noon Rotary club has recently celebrated our 50 year anniversary. One profits most who serves the best." We strive to offer a variety of service projects so that all members have a chance to participate. In September we have the Heart of the Summit 5K/10K/1 Mile Walk/Run - which honors first responders. In June we have our annual Golf Tournament and in February our club celebrates the year with Feed Lee's Summit, in collaboration with other Lee's Summit chapter. For decades, Rotary members around the world have worked toward one incredible goal: ending polio for good.

And thanks to the dedication of Rotarians, healthcare workers, volunteers, and supporters, we've come so far! But the work isn't finished, and every effort matters.

At the Rotary Club of Lee's Summit, we're proud to be part of a global organization that continues to fight for a future where no child has to suffer from this preventable disease.

Today, we celebrate the progress, honor those who have made it possible, and renew our commitment to finishing what we started.

💙💛 What a wonderful Thursday at the Rotary Club of Lee's Summit!

Today's meeting was extra special as we welcomed one of our very own, District Governor Amy Chinnery-Valmassei!

It's always a treat to hear from Amy, and today's presentation was no exception. Her enthusiasm for Rotary, passion for service, and dedication to making a difference are just a few of the reasons we're so proud to call her one of our own!

A heartfelt thank you, Amy, for spending the afternoon with us and for all you do to inspire Rotarians throughout our district. We're lucky to have you!

We also want to thank Janet Moore for our invocation and Bruce Quaile and Megan Salerno for greeting everyone with a smile.

And, of course, thank you to all our members and guests who joined us for another fantastic afternoon of fellowship. We always look forward to Thursdays with our Rotary family!
