West Central Missouri Police Wives Wives of Missouri Regional Lodge #50 covering Western Missouri counties; Cass, Clay, Jackson, Ray, Bates, Platte (exception of Kansas City & Independence)

We are the wives of Missouri Regional Lodge #50 which encompasses the following counties; Cass, Clay, Jackson, Ray, Bates, Platte, and all agencies in Western Missouri. We are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to supporting each other in our daily commitment to support our LEO loved ones on the streets. West Central Police Wives Association is a private non-profit (c)(3) organization comprised of a Board of Directors, committee members and general membership. Our programs are funded through grants, fundraising efforts of membership, and generous donations from our partners and the community. Our financial support is 100% returned to our officers and our families in times of gratitude, times of need, and always in show of our solidarity.

Please join the Greenwood Police Department on August 1st, from 5pm - 8pm, at Hitt park for National Night Out. This is a community event to promote neighbors getting to know one another. We will use this event to kick off our Neighborhood watch program. So, bring the family and your neighbors to meet our police officers and have some fun. Help us to make Greenwood a community of friendships.

We are super proud to present the May 2023, Pleasant Hill Police Department, T.R.I. Award Winner!

Congrats to Detective Nicole Wegner on being chosen as the May 2023 T.R.I. Award winner.

The T.R.I. Award is a monthly, peer to peer award, presented to a Pleasant Hill Police Department employee who has gone over and above in their duties.

T.R.I. is part of the departments core values, and is an acronym for Trust, Respect, and Integrity. Those values are the top three core values of the department.

Next month, Wegner will be responsible for nominating a fellow department employee who has gone over and above in the line of duty.

A suicidal teen asked for his School Resource Deputy last night, who was able to talk him safely down from the Worlds of Fun water tower.

Kansas City Missouri Police Department responded to a call of a teen who ran away at 9:37 p.m. May 24. They located him actively climbing the water tower at 5016 N. Bristol. He ascended close to the top, an estimated 115 feet off the ground. The teen said he wanted to speak only with Deputy Bransfield, the School Resource Deputy at his middle school. Kansas City Police called Deputy Bransfield, who arrived about 10:15 p.m.

The teen told Deputy Bransfield he wanted him to come so he could say good-bye and thank him for all he’d done for him. Deputy Bransfield engaged him in conversation about his struggles, and after about 40 minutes, he was able to convince the boy to climb down safely.

An ambulance then transported the teen for mental health treatment.
