In partnership with Dunnavant Volunteer Fire Department, this Saturday evening, Dunnavant Community Center is hosting our first-ever Family Fun Night — and it's completely FREE!

🎯 Giant games • 🏰 Bounce house • 🎨 Chalk art • 🍕 Food & drinks •🥸 Face Painting

This is the first of FOUR family fun nights we're hosting through the summer, and we're kicking it off this weekend. Come meet your neighbors, let the kids burn some energy, and show some love for our community center.

We’re excited to share everything happening at Dunnavant Community Center this May!

We’ve got a full month of activities for seniors, families, and the community, and we’d love for you to join us.

📅 Senior Activities
All senior activities are held on Thursdays at 10 AM at the community center:

• May 7 – Game Day hosted by Shelby County Community Services Team
• May 14 – Bingocize with Skylar from Middle Alabama Area Agency on Aging
• May 21 – Sewing Class led by Tammy Murphree Harris, local resident
• May 28 – Senior Breakfast sponsored by the Dunnavant Community Center Board of Directors

🏍 Dunnavant Community Center Motorcycle Ride
Join us Saturday, May 9 at 9 AM for the Dunnavant Community Center Motorcycle Ride Fundraiser! This event helps raise funds to support the community center and future programming.

🏛 Community Center Board Meeting
Our board meeting will be held Tuesday, May 12 at 6 PM. Community members are welcome to attend.

☀️ Dunnavant Family Fun Night - Summer Series Kick Off
Join us Saturday, May 23 at 5 PM for our Family Fun Night in partnership with Dunnavant Volunteer Fire Department! We’ll have games, activities, food, a bounce house, and fun for the whole family as we kick off our summer series.

We would also love to connect with anyone interested in volunteering to help with these events or future activities at the community center. These programs are made possible by volunteers, and we truly appreciate everyone who gives their time to support the community. Send us a message on Facebook if interested.

We had a wonderful morning at our Senior Breakfast today. We truly appreciate our seniors and are grateful for the time we get to spend together as a community.

A special thank you to the Shelby County, Alabama Extension Office for joining us and helping connect the irrigation system for our bucket garden. We appreciate your support and the knowledge you continue to share with our community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a great event.

We’re hosting the Dunnavant Community Center Senior Breakfast on Thursday, April 30th at 10:00 AM, and we’d love your help making it a special morning for our seniors.

We’re expecting around 20 guests and are looking for a few volunteers to bring breakfast items, drinks, and help with setup and cleanup. Everything is broken out into simple options, so you can pick what works best for you.
