Stray Cat Sanctuary SCS is a small rescue with dreams of becoming a larger, positive impact for our community.

Stray Cat Sanctuary is a no-kill, nonprofit 501(c)(3) cat rescue that is committed to compassionately improve the lives of neglected, abused and homeless cats through education, rehabilitation and community outreach programs. It is comprised of friends who formerly volunteered at a local cat shelter together. We believe that providing a more enriched, cage-free life for our shelter cats is the best way to let their individual personalities blossom.

Midnight has some secrets- she naps in the food drawer, her bestie is our calico kitten, Sky, who naps WITH her in the food drawer, AND she secretly loves pets near her tail.

She’s a good girl, full of personality and a dash of spice. 🩷

Well, they are doing GREAT! We’re still working on their food aggression, poor things, but they are doing soooo much better! And some of these babies are PURR monsters!!😊

Bonded brothers, Saffron and Pepper, are the new official greeters at the shelter. Good luck trying to pet any other kitties, because Saffron will literally pull your hands to his head if you stop petting him. Pepper is always not too far behind. 🐾🐾

How could a cat who was found wandering the streets, dirty and severely underweight, end up being the absolute best kitty? She’s a special little lady and deserves a happy life.

How amazing! After years of, we suspect, living outside, our old man FIV+ Arthur finally has a loving indoor home.❤️ And our sweet, Saint, has another chance!

We cannot begin to describe how spoiled and loved these two gentlemen are already.
