Not every victory is measured by the scoreline! 🐾⚽💪
This weekend, our U10 Girls took the field with NO substitutes, just two games under their belts this season, and plenty of questions about how they would measure up against some of the strongest teams in our area. What followed was a weekend that showed us exactly what this group is made of!
With two wins, one draw, and just one loss, the results were impressive. But as proud as we are of those numbers, the character, courage, and resilience these young ladies displayed mean so much more than any scoreline ever could.
They battled through challenging weather, fatigue, having no substitutes, questionable calls, and even verbal attacks from opposing programs. Yet, through it all, they refused to back down, refused to give up, and continued to fight for one another and represent our team with pride.
These are the moments that build more than soccer players. They build confidence, toughness, teamwork, and character. The lessons these girls learned this weekend will serve them far beyond the soccer field and carry them through challenges for the rest of their lives.
Coaches Shelby, Emmy, and I could not be more proud of this group! ❤️ We witnessed a team step up, rise to the occasion, and prove that heart, determination, and belief in one another can take you a long way. These young ladies deserve every bit of recognition for what they accomplished in the face of adversity!
U10 GIRLS, YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELVES! You showed up, you battled, you supported one another, and you never let the challenges define you. Instead, you defined yourselves through your effort, your attitude, and your heart.
Keep believing. Keep battling. Keep growing. The future is bright, and this is only the beginning!
