For Terry’s Equine Foundation, it can help provide a horse with a safer path forward.

Horse ownership can be incredibly rewarding, but sometimes life changes. Financial hardship, health issues, changes in circumstances, or simply becoming overwhelmed can make it difficult for an owner to continue providing the care their horse needs.

We understand that asking for help can be difficult. We support owners through training, medical assistance, and rehoming services, and offer safe surrender as a last resort so every horse receives appropriate care and a secure future. In addition to helping horses in need, we strengthen the equine community through donor-supported education and training in rehabilitation, medical care, nutrition, and horsemanship, while supporting a skilled and engaged workforce within the industry.

Meet Vickie and Millie!

We wanted you to hear the impact that volunteering with TEF has on people’s lives! Vickie has been forming a strong bond with Millie over the past few years. We asked Vickie to share what their partnership means to her and what she enjoys most.

While we provide a sanctuary home for these horses, they provide so much for us in return! Do you want to be involved and come see for yourself? Shoot us a message, we would be happy to hear from you🐴🩷
