Mono Basin Outdoor Education Center The Outdoor Education Center (OEC) program connects urban youth to the source of their water through outdoor education activities and restoration projects.

The Mono Basin OEC is part of the Mono Lake Committe's education program:

The Mono Lake Committee is a non-profit citizens' group dedicated to protecting and restoring the Mono Basin ecosystem, educating the public about Mono Lake and the impacts on the environment of excessive water use, and promoting cooperative solutions that protect Mono Lake and meet real water needs without transferring en

vironmental problems to other areas. The Mono Basin Outdoor Education Center would love to extend that reach to past, present and future participants of the Mono Lake's OE program. We welcome you to join in and share your experiences, interests, and inquiries on our page as well as our main page:
