Proudly maintaining snowmobile trails in northern Oneida County, New York, including north Rome, Western, Hawkins Corners, Lee Center, Stokes Corners, West Branch, Point Rock, Ava and into West Leyden. is a non-profit snowmobile club founded in 1966. The club maintains over 41 miles of Class A trails over both public and private lands. The club provides snowmobile safety education classes and encourages preservation, conservation and a healthy respect of nature and the environment.

Trailbusters Snowmobile Club would like to extend a sincere thank you to Central Paving for their generous donation of two used 6’ x 5’ x 27’ galvanized steel culverts. Contributions like this make a real difference, and these will be put to good use—especially as we continue addressing recent storm damage on our trails. We truly appreciate your support!

UPDATE 3/25/2026 – All things come to an end, and that time for us has come. All our trails are now closed. It was an outstanding year, and a big thanks to all our dedicated volunteers that spent 100s of hours staking, signing, maintaining, repairing, & grooming!

Next months meeting Tues 14-Apr 7pm at the Lee Town Hall will be our
Nominations for Club Officers, and our Club President is ready to pass the torch on to an egger replacement. We also thank Mike for several years of hard work and for taking more than a few unpleasant phone calls for us.

UPDATE 3/10/2026 – All trails are closed south of our Penn Mountain Junction, and probably all within a few days. Additionally, construction is starting near the Fish Hatchery to put in a tunnel from the East side of HW 46 to the Fish Hatchery, please be caution in that area if by chance we get another blizzard and reopen.

UPDATE 2/24/2026 - Groomer headed South last night. Ride while you still can.

UPDATE 2/21/2026 - fresh snow and more favorable temperatures we were able to groom the northern trail to West Lyden today.

UPDATE 2/16/2026 - North and South were groomed yesterday, but with the warm up grooming will be tough. We'll monitor the temps and get out when we can. We're not planning grooming above 32 degrees
