Proudly maintaining snowmobile trails in northern Oneida County, New York, including north Rome, Western, Hawkins Corners, Lee Center, Stokes Corners, West Branch, Point Rock, Ava and into West Leyden. is a non-profit snowmobile club founded in 1966. The club maintains over 41 miles of Class A trails over both public and private lands. The club provides snowmobile safety education classes and encourages preservation, conservation and a healthy respect of nature and the environment.

CLUB MEETING: Our 1st CLub meeting for the year is this coming Tuesday night, August 11th, 7 PM at the Lee Town Hall.

Please come out! We need HELP getting prepped for the season. We have 6 bridges that need repairs and a total bridge build at the new River Road stream crossing. If you can take the lead on one of the bridge repair projects, please either come to the meeting or message us here on Messenger.

Teamwork gets it done! Volunteers from Trailbusters and Taberg Trail Blazers joined forces and finished clearing the Point Rock trail (C4I) that has been closed for 3 years. Next week we’ll start working to open the new re-route section. Watch for posts here to come out and help.

TRAIL WORK DAY: Thursday, 6/12/26. Meet at groomer barn at 8:30 AM. Plan to depart the barn by 9 AM.

Great news! After 3 years of being closed, we have negotiated a reroute with landowners to allow us to re-open the Point Rock (C4I) trail.

We will continue today's progress on Thursday. We will start at Vary Road and clear Southwest towards the Tuffy Road parking lot.

Please come out and help!

We take the tractor with front grapple, chainsaws and a Ranger. If others have equipment and able to support the trail clearing, please let us know. It will take multiple volunteers and several days.
NOTE: The mosquitos were not too bad today. The Club will have Deet-based bug spray for volunteers. Recommend long sleeves, hat, gloves and plenty of water.

Awesome progress today on clearing the Point Rock Trail (C4I). A crew of 5 cleared 2 miles of trail that has been closed for 3 years. We cleared over 3 dozen trees fallen across the trail. At least 1/3 of those larger than 10" diameter. Shout out of thanks to Mike C, Andy L, Steve T, Dennis H and Dan E.

TRAIL WORK DAY: Tuesday, 6/9/26. Meet at groomer barn at 8:30 AM. Plan to depart the barn by 9 AM.

Great news! After 3 years of being closed, we have negotiated a reroute with landowners to allow us to re-open the Point Rock trail. We've had scouts out and there's quite a number of trees and branches down on the trail ... but nothing as bad as we cleared after last year's tornado near Ava.

We'll take the tractor with front grapple, chainsaws and a Ranger. If others have equipment and able to support the trail clearing, please let us know. It will take multiple volunteers and several days.

Tomorrow, we will start at the Tuffy Road parking lot and work South towards the Point Rock junction. NOTE: The mosquitos are intense. Recommend long sleeves, bug spray and even a mosquito head net if you have one.

Trailbusters Snowmobile Club would like to extend a sincere thank you to Central Paving for their generous donation of two used 6’ x 5’ x 27’ galvanized steel culverts.
