Darius Chapter No. 144 An appendant bodies of Freemasonry that a Master Mason may join to further his knowledge of Freemasonry.

ght of Ancient Craft masonry, presents it as a complete system in accordance with the original plan and confers at last the rights and light of a Master Mason in fact as well as in name. It truly leads to a fuller understanding of the purposes and spirit of Freemasonry, for standing upon this towering summit we are able for the first time to perceive the completeness of the Ancient Craft and to understand how all its forms and ceremonies, from the Entered Apprentice to the Master Mason’s Degree, are the preparation for the final goal, the Most Sublime Degree of Royal Arch Mason. Our membership consists only of those who have been regularly initiated, passed and raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason in a just and duly constituted Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons who are properly vouched for, in good standing in their respective Lodges and in the community in which they reside. We would have all such receive the light and instruction which can be communicated only in the Royal Arch Degree. Any Royal Arch Mason can give full information on how to proceed to that end.

Last night at Darius chapter (144) Excellent High Priest Jim Pritchard and Right Excellent Richard Burroughs(District deputy grand high priest) presented a 50 year certificate to John DeRoos for 50 years of service in Royal Arch Masonry! Congratulations John, it was a great night! Thanks for all you do for our Chapter!

Companions Don't Forget!

You are cordially invited to attend the annual Baron Steuben #264 summer picnic to be held at Lake Delta State Park on Saturday, 29 August, 2015. Please see below for the details:

On Saturday, August 29th, Baron Steuben Lodge will host a sizzling Summer Picnic at Lake Delta State Park.

The picnic will be at Shelter 3 in the Sunset Bluff picnic area. Please bring a favorite dish to pass, your own place setting and camp chair. The lodge will supply the burgers and dogs.

Official Picnic hours will be from noon to 3 pm. Games and other fun will be provided. Family and friends are welcome.

Don’t forget that there is a $7/car day use fee to enter the park.

Please RSVP with the lodge secretary as soon as possible.

A reminder that tonight, April 29th, at the Lee Center Masonic Temple, the High Priest has scheduled a practice for the upcoming Mark Master Mason degree. This will most likely be the only practice prior to the conferral of the degree in May. Please make every effort to attend.

Dress is casual. The practice will commence promptly at 7 pm.

Tonight at the Lee Center Masonic Temple, Darius Chapter #144 will hold its April convocation. The work on the trestleboard will be practicing the opening and closing of a Chapter of R.A.M and discussing the upcoming Mark Master Mason degree next month.

Congratulations Companions! At the 2015 Grand Convocation we had the honor of receiving the John A. Sainz Award for the greatest percentage of increase in membership for 2014. We increased our membership by 30%, the largest increase for any Chapter in the entire state of New York. This would not be possible without the continued support of our Companions. Thank you all and we look forward to a fruitful 2015.

A reminder that the High Priest has scheduled the Darius Chapter Kickoff Night for tonight at the Lee Center Masonic Temple.

The purpose of the meeting is to finalize the remaining open Chapter Officer positions, discuss the 2015 trestleboard, and any other topics of interest to the companions.

The dress for the evening is casual. Chapter will open at 7 pm.

As usual, refreshments will be served following the meeting.
