Our congregation is a family of God sharing the Lord’s love with those in our community through ministry, prayer, and bible study. ary located in the stucco building at the southeast corner of the intersection of Douglas County roads 442 and 1023. Handicap parking is located in the paved parking area on the south side of the church. We have handicap accessible doors and an elevator located in the church basement available for use. The Faith and Friendship Center also offers handicap accessible in all doors. Worship Time:

Our service is a blend of both traditional hymns, contemporary praise choruses, and a sermon message. We are worshipping in person in our Faith and Friendship Center following our church fire in July 2022. Devotion from Lysa TerKeurst:

We make such big assumptions of what a good God should do and then find ourselves epically disappointed when nothing in our lives looks like we pictured it would.

But, here’s the hope.

Though we can’t predict or control or demand the outcome of our circumstances, we can know with great certainty we will be okay. Better than okay. We will be victorious because Jesus is victorious (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Instead of tying our hope to specific outcomes, let’s tie ourselves to the very heart of God. Because the story He is writing for us is so much better than anything we could write ourselves.

Lord God,

We are pulled in so many directions each and every day.
With social media, apps, websites, and more - it can be hard to know what to say yes to, and what to say no to; what to believe and what not to believe.
It can be hard to know what is adding fruit to our lives, and what is actually taking away joy and peace from our days.
Help us to be good stewards of our time and resources.
As we sit with You today, Father, I ask that You show each of us if there is anything we should add - or remove.
May we be quick to listen to your call on our lives.
We love You, Jesus.
We thank You for the gift of a new day.

Amen.
