Congrats to the LHS Marching Band for their amazing performance at FMBC Regional Competition hosted by Tarpon Springs! They won Best Woodwinds, Percussion, General Effect, Drum Major, Visual Performance, and Best Solo Jaime, Alto Solo. They were placed Grand Champion in class 1A for the second year in a row. They also placed higher than 2A bands too. We couldn't be more proud of this group of kids and all their hard work!

Hello everyone, for those who haven't met me I am the new director here at Lecanto. I come to you this evening ask for your help. As you have heard, our band is doing phenomenal this season and have a really good shot at making finals to perform in the Tropicana Dome. Our staff and I have done everything that we can for our students, this is where I need you all. Tomorrow the 11th is our final rehearsal from after the parade starting around 2 until 5pm. If anyone is free and willing I would love to invite you to come watch our rehearsal to encourage our band. I want them to see how much we care and are rooting for them. At the end of rehearsal I would love for any of you to please speak any words of encouragement to the group that you can. I would also love to invite any able to travel Gaither to watch us. When at the show I would love our followers to sing our chant as we take the field to boost the band even more while taking the field. I am having the parents do this as well, anything just to show support and pump them up even more. Thank you in advance and look forward to meeting everyone soon.

This Saturday, November 12th the LHS Band will be performing in the FMBC 2A semi finals at Gaither High School. They perform at 11:45 am. Please come out and show your support and cheer on the band to get them to finals at Tropicana Field.

First place in prelims at Santa Fe.....clean sweep class 2A. 72.00! Now on to finals. Will update when over.
