Youth Parents and Students!!

Just a reminder tomorrow is our summer kick off! This is a cook out for the whole family!

This will be a potluck! Bring your families favorite side dish! The church will be providing hotdogs and hamburgers.

If you are the parent of a 5th grade student who will be in 6th grade this fall we would love to invite you to this weeks youth group as a family for your students first time at youth group!

The silent auction is from 3-6pm
We are passing out Cotton candy and popcorn from 6-8pm

Today was amazing! Three break out sessions, one main session, bowling, Hawaiian themed party, and so much more! These photos are only a glimpse into the craziness that happened today!

We continued our theme on spiritual warfare. The students attended 3 break out sessions and a main session focusing on practical ways we can deflect and reject the lies of satan and focus on the Word of God!

In just one full day together we have spent hours in the word, in prayer, and worshiping the Lord together!

We finish tomorrow morning with one more session and will be home in the afternoon! The students are excited to share what they have learned this weekend!

All of our groups made it to super winter! We had a great night one!

The theme this year is fight the good fight: battlegrounds. Focusing on spiritual warfare and how we trust the lord through it!

Please pray for our students! for the conversations that will be had, for the things that will be processed, for the decisions that will be made! Pray that God would receive the glory and that these students would be transformed this week!

We had 45 students in attendance! Shout out to First Christian Church of Dodge City youth group for joining us today!

We spent time in prayer and worship followed by a great time of fellowship and games!

If you missed youth group or just need a refresher, we were in week four of our new series, “Kill The Spider.”

We have started looking at our cobwebs. Cobwebs are the bad habits and sins in our lives that we too often try to clean up the aftermath of rather than dealing with the heart issue behind them. We learned that the only way to deal with those cobwebs is to kill the spider. However, we do not have the strength or ability to kill the spider on our own. WE NEED JESUS!

Next week we will jump into chapter 3 of our book Kill The Spider! See you then!
