We're a transitional shelter in Lebanon, TN, providing a safe, supportive place for women and children to rebuild their lives—offering not a handout, but a hand up. Brooks House has the capacity for up to 28 women and children to receive temporary shelter. There are five family bedrooms, which can accommodate a mother and up to three children and four single rooms, which can accommodate two female
s without children. The house also offers its resident's bathroom and shower facilities, a fully functioning kitchen, a dining room, laundry facilities with washers and dryers, a children's playroom, and a family room. Brooks House has a fenced-in back yard, complete with two covered patios, a children's playground, picnic tables, gas grill, raised garden beds, and a storage area for children's bikes. Residents live at Brooks House for 6-12 months, then transition to their own permanent residence.
