Friends of Wilson County Animal Control would like to announce a new spay and neuter program. For phase one, our organization will pay for spay and neuter for every dog that is adopted from Wilson County Animal Shelter. The program directly funds surgeries, pain medication, and vaccinations, removing financial barriers for pet owners. We partner with local veterinarians and low-cost clinics to bring these services to pet owners. Additional phases, including spay and neuter and medical costs for our community, will be launched as we receive additional funds.
We are deeply grateful to https://www.facebook.com/maddiesfund for providing our organization with a grant to seed this new program. Their grant empowers our team to save countless lives. Thank you for championing the human-animal bond!
Spay and neuter programs are essential to reducing pet overpopulation, preventing unwanted litters, and keeping pets in their loving homes. Every unspayed female dog and her offsprings can produce over 67,000 puppies in 6 years - spay/neuter is the most effective way to stop this cycle.
Join us in making spay and neuter a standard of care for all pets in our community. We cannot do it without the community support. Please donate, link below.
