Piggly – Heartworm Fundraiser

After spending 4 months at Wilson County Animal Control (WCAC), Piggly was adopted into a wonderful home. After adoption, a heartworm test was given at time of spaying. The heartworm test came back positive. Friends of WCAC are stepping in to support Piggy and her new family.

We estimate the treatment to cost around $1000, paid over the next 3 months. Piggly’s treatment began this week.

We are asking for your donations to help pay for her treatment. Every dollar count!

Hope, formally of WCAC is in the care of Good Karma K9. The owner has failing health and is desperate to move this sweet pup to a foster or rescue. Please contact Good Karma K9 or me if you can help or have suggestions.

🏡 FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR HOPE

Hope is looking for something she hasn’t had enough of yet: a home where she can be someone’s main focus.

She is currently with Good Karma K9, but we believe the next step in her rehabilitation is getting her into an individual foster home where she can experience normal day-to-day life, build confidence, and receive consistent one-on-one attention while we search for her permanent family.

Good Karma K9 will cover her food and necessary veterinary expenses. Her foster’s job is simply to provide her with a safe, structured, loving home and continue the guidance we provide.

There is no guaranteed timeline for fostering. Hope would remain with her foster until an appropriate adopter is found, and her foster would also have the first opportunity to adopt her if they fall in love and decide she belongs with them. 🤍

This is more than somewhere for Hope to stay. We’re looking for someone who wants to be an important part of helping her become the dog we know she can be.

If you’re interested in fostering Hope, please message Good Karma K9 for more information.

Chance, formally of WCAC is in the care of Good Karma K9. The owner has failing health and is desperate to move this sweet pup to a foster or rescue. Please contact Good Karma K9 or me if you can help or have suggestions.

🏡 CHANCE NEEDS A FOSTER HOME

Chance got his second chance. Now he needs someone willing to help him figure out what comes next.

We are looking for an individual foster home where Chance can receive the one-on-one time, structure, attention, and rehabilitation that can be difficult to provide when multiple foster and training dogs are being cared for at once.

Good Karma K9 will provide his food and cover necessary veterinary expenses. We’ll also remain involved and provide guidance throughout the foster process. We’re not asking someone to take this on completely alone.

His foster commitment does not have a set end date. Chance would stay with his foster while we work to find the right permanent home for him. And if his foster realizes along the way that Chance has already found his home, fosters will have the opportunity to adopt. 🤍

What Chance needs most is someone willing to give him consistency, patience, and the chance to experience life as part of a home while he continues becoming more confident and prepared for adoption.

If you think you could be that person, please reach out to Good Karma K9.

Even if you can’t foster, sharing this post could put Chance in front of the person who can.
