“Team Kate is raising awareness and funds for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) to help fund research to find a cure. In 2014, a few months after Hal Bone’s daughter, Kate, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, we created Team Kate to participate in the CCFA’s fundraiser Take Steps. The money we raise is spent on four key areas — research, patient services, advocacy, and professiona

l education. The CCFA cannot fund the mission without the generous support of donors as they do not receive any government funding.

The Crohn’s & Colitis Take Steps walk is happening April 26, 2026 at First Horizon Park in Nashville! Check-in begins at 1 PM, with the ceremony and walk starting at 2 PM.
