REMINDER for Tuesday May 19th Regular monthly meeting.

NEW Meeting location: The Winfrey Family Enrichment Center, located at 25573 Highway 5 in Lebanon, MO

NEW TIME: 530pm

PLEASE use SIDE Entrance NOT the front.

This is for auxiliary ONLY.

The VFW Post 4107 meeting will be at a different location at the normal time.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our Auxiliary President, Clyde Eddy, on May 7.

Clyde was a longtime member of our Auxiliary and a friend to so many. He was one of the kindest people you could ever meet — always generous, always caring, and always willing to lend a hand. He touched the lives of countless people through his friendship, dedication, and the love he showed to everyone around him.

He will be deeply missed by all of us at the Galmey VFW Auxiliary and by the many friends and community members whose lives he made brighter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on May 23 at 4:00 pm, followed by live music by Ponch Burkhart at 7:00 pm, at the Galmey VFW Post. This was a day Clyde himself had originally planned last year as a celebration of his 80th birthday. It is fitting that we now gather on that day to celebrate the wonderful life he lived and the joy he brought to so many.

Please keep Clyde’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as we remember a truly special man.

Rest easy, Clyde. Your kindness and your memory will live on in all of us.

Today, a member of Lebanon Memorial Auxiliary 4107 stood proudly along the overpass off I-44 as the procession carrying Lt. Robert Aikman passed through town on its way to the funeral home in Branson, Missouri.

With heavy hearts and deep respect, we gathered to honor a hero who served his country with courage and sacrifice. Tom stood holding the American Flag high as a symbol of gratitude, honor, and remembrance for Lt. Aikman and all who have worn our nation’s uniform.

Moments like these remind us that even in sorrow, our community stands united in honoring those who gave so much. Though Lt. Robert Aikman may be gone, he will never be forgotten. His service, sacrifice, and memory will live on in the hearts of all who stood in respect today.

Please continue to keep his family, friends, and fellow brothers and sisters in service in your thoughts and prayers. 🇺🇸

Notice of Upcoming Auxiliary Elections – January 20, 2026

Lebanon Memorial 4107 Auxiliary Members,
This post is to inform you that an election will be held on January 20, 2026 at 6:30 pm during the regular monthly Auxiliary meeting to fill several open Auxiliary officer positions.
All members in good standing are encouraged to consider serving or to nominate a fellow member who may be interested in helping support our Auxiliary and its mission. Serving in an Auxiliary position is a meaningful way to contribute to our veterans, community, and Post.

Thank you for your continued dedication and participation. We hope to see everyone at the January meeting.
