SPONSORSHIPS ARE DUE IN 10 DAYS!

We are currently looking for sponsors to help make this year’s fair successful. Sponsorships are a huge part of what allows us to pay our premiums to exhibitors, bring in exciting track events, and continue growing this event for our entire community.

This fair means so much to our local youth and families, especially those who put in countless hours in the livestock barn.

Hog and Lamb Weigh In today concluded our Market Animal Weigh Ins.

Our totals are as follows:
Steers - 63 steers, 53 exhibitors
Hogs - 84 hogs, 72 exhibitors
Lambs - 58 lambs, 41 exhibitors
TOTAL: 205 animals, 166 exhibitors

That means there are 166 exhibitors across Laclede and adjoining counties who are devoting a lot of time and money into raising these animals to the current market's standards.

We invite you to show these exhibitors support at our Market Animal Sale on July 9, 2026 at 6:30pm!

❗️Important Hog & Lamb Weigh-In Information ❗️

•Weigh in is Saturday, May 9th, from 8:00-10:00am at the Fairgrounds
•There is no set weight that your animals have to be at this weigh in, but hogs must weigh 230-320 pounds by July 7, and lambs must weigh 90-140 pounds by July 7.
•There will be a $3 weigh-in fee for each animal that you weigh in, and you are able to weigh in two of each species.
•Exhibitor MUST be present at time of weigh-in of the animal.
•Each exhibitor is limited to the show and sale of ONE market animal.
•Exhibitor must be from Laclede County or an adjoining county. No exceptions.
•Exhibitor and Parent/Legal Guardian must sign the safety waiver at time of weigh-in.

This year's Laclede County Fair Scholarship applicants were some of the best we have ever had.

These three outstanding young individuals have consistently shown their dedication, work ethic, and desire to better themselves—especially through their time and effort in the livestock barn. Their commitment doesn’t go unnoticed, and it’s clear they have bright futures ahead.

Congratulations to Tucker, Brier, and Lillian!

They will be recognized at the Market Animal Sale on July 9 at 6:30pm.
