A great night for our cross country team as our runners were honored at the League Banquet last evening at the Double Tree Resort. Seana Dougherty was named second team all star, and we had seven scholar athletes recognized. And Carson Miller was honored as the most courageous athlete. Job well done!

Section One Meet #2 at South Hills Park last evening as our cross country program took on host Lebanon and Cedar Crest. The junior high girls swept the meet, while the boys went 1-1, defeating Lebanon. In the Varsity Meet, the girls went 1-1, defeating Lebanon while the boys team dropped a pair of meets. Madison Gonzalez and Lena Glick (junior high) and Seana Dougherty and Timothy Gitonga (high school) were the teams top runners. Great job CVXC!

A great start to the season for the CV Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams as we opened the regular season at home with victories over Penn Manor and losing Manheim Township. The Bucks followed up the week with many personal best marks at the LVC Invitational as our the girls team placed 5th overall while the boys finished 6th in the team standing. Great job CVXC!

Some photos from this past Tuesdays Lancaster Lebanon League Championship Meet at Ephrata Middle School. Our boys finished 12th and girls 15th overall in the team standings. Timothy Gotenga (45th, 17:59) and Seanna Dougherty (42nd, 21:26) were CV’s top finishers.
