It's Labor Day Weekend! The Fostering Hope Closet will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday.

⚾ Kids' Night Out is headed to the ballpark! ⚾

We have a limited number of free Springfield Cardinals tickets, generously donated to Live 2 Give Hope, for foster, kinship, guardianship, and adoptive families, and for social workers and their families.

📍 Route 66 Stadium, 955 Trafficway, Springfield, MO
⏰ Games run about 2.5 hours. Choose whichever date works for your family:

⚾ Sunday, September 13 at 1:15 PM

We’re closed this week while Laura’s away at the Kidz In Motion conference. She’ll be back with fresh ideas, new connections, and probably a suitcase full of resources for our families.

L-Life Food Pantry knows how to throw a party.

Every year, they fill Boswell Park with bounce houses, food, games, music, kids running everywhere and families just getting to enjoy an afternoon together.

And every year, they invite the whole community to come for free.

We’re pretty excited to do it all again September 19.

This year, we’re bringing Kids’ Night Out along with us, so our foster, kinship, guardianship and adoptive families — we’ll see you there.

Signing up for Kids' Night Out just got easier.

Our website update is rolling out, and navigating to Kids' Night Out and registering for events is smoother than ever. Link in comments.

Kids' Night Out is our monthly respite program. Family outings, take-home packs, and drop-off nights with dinner and volunteers, so foster parents get a few hours to breathe.

In the Ozarks, no family walks alone.

Laura is headed to North Carolina for the Kidz In Motion Conference!

She will spend some time learning even more about keeping kids safe in car seats.

That means the Fostering Hope Closet will be closed August 24–27. We’ll reopen Monday, August 31.

If your family already visits the Closet, tell the kids to keep their eyes open while you shop. And if you’re a foster, kinship, guardianship, adoptive, or crisis family who hasn’t been in yet, September is a pretty good time to come get set up.
