School may be out for summer. But Lebanon R-3 School District doesn’t stop showing up for kids.

Administrators from our local school district came to the Fostering Hope Closet today, not just to help, but to learn.

They toured the space and wanted to understand how we work alongside the families we both serve.

Then they got to work. Organizing clothing, moving through it quickly, making it better for the next family who walks through the door.

We are grateful for partners who see the whole picture. That caring for kids doesn’t pause when the school bell goes quiet. It just looks different.

Lebanon R-3, thank you for being here. Thank you for wanting to know more. Thank you for showing up.

This summer is a busy one for Live 2 Give Hope and the Fostering Hope Closet.

Driver training. Child passenger safety training. A team that has earned some rest after a year of saying yes. Sometimes the best way to keep showing up well is to take a breath.

So here’s our summer closure schedule. Three short closures, each one tied to something good.

June 30–July 2, our team and volunteers take a well earned break.

July 13–24, we’re in Osage Beach for Paving the Way driver training.

August 24–27, our team is at the Child Passenger Safety Conference, learning how to keep your kids even safer.

Closed doesn’t mean gone. If you have an emergency need during any of these dates, call or text 417-322-1862. We will always make a way.

We’re on a ROLL over here.

We just stocked up on hamburger buns and bread, generously shared through The Free Store Ministry with help from Walmart, and we want to get it to the families who can use it.

If you’re a current client, come see us during our normal open hours and grab what you need.

We’re open!!!

Paving the Way wrapped up and the Fostering Hope Closet is stocked, rested, and ready for regular hours.

Monday & Wednesday: 10am to 1pm
Tuesday & Thursday: 2pm to 6pm

We have clothes for girls, boys, adults, and everyone in between. Come see us.

The closet exists for foster, adoptive, kinship, reunification, and at-risk families in our community. No appointment needed.

Tomorrow is the last day to register for the kids fishing day! If you haven't registered yet, get on it!

This event is for foster, kinship, adoptive, guardianship, and reunification families.

Tracker Marine is opening their lake to our families on June 20 for a free, catch-and-release fishing morning - 8 to 11 AM, right here in Lebanon.

No cost. No catch limit on fun.

The first 50 kids ages 3 and up to register will get a free fishing pole from Bass Pro. Drinks provided. Giveaways all morning. Guess the gummy worms, win a prize.

Foster, adoptive, guardianship, kinship, reunification families - and social workers and their families - all welcome.

The Summer Donation Drive is ON!!

Gather your friends, your group, your family, or your church and pick an item to tackle. Help us restock for the fall as we serve families in the Ozarks.

Summer is BACK. So is our donation drive.

You already know how this works. Pick ONE item from the list. Collect as many as you can before August 6. Let us know your choice so every need gets covered and nothing gets doubled up.

Every hanger tells a story. ❤️

We’re honored, but this award isn’t really about us.

It’s about the teenager who found the perfect prom dress.

The foster child who received a suitcase instead of a trash bag.

The caregiver who found help when they weren’t sure where to turn.

It’s about a community that continues to show up for children and families.

We're POOL-ing our resources this summer to make a big SPLASH for foster families.

Three private pool parties. Free dinner. Boswell Aquatic Center. Just for the families who show up for kids every day.

Dinner at 5:30. Swimming at 6.
Foster, kinship, guardianship, adoptive, and social worker families are invited.

We like to think this is what it looks like when a community goes off the DEEP END for foster families.

Paving the Way is half over already. Time flies when you’re having fun!
