🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to remember. 🇺🇸

More than 1.3 million Americans have given their lives in military service throughout our nation’s history. Behind every number is a story, a family, and a legacy that continues through generations.

Music has always played a meaningful role in military life and remembrance. From military bands and bugle calls to songs that unite communities during difficult times, music carries emotion, pride, healing, and connection across every branch of service. Performances by organizations like The United States Army Band, The United States Marine Band, and countless community ensembles help preserve stories, honor sacrifice, and remind us of the power of unity through music.

🎶 One of the most recognized musical tributes is “Taps,” performed at military funerals for over 150 years — a simple melody that says what words often cannot.
