On Saturday, October 18, Wagons for Warriors and the Wyota Quail Forever chapter of Lebanon sponsored a European pheasant tower shoot for twenty area veterans outside of Lebanon, Mo. While most of the participants were not familiar with this type of sporting event, after a brief introduction, all said they had a great day with time spent in a new experience in the outdoors. In addition to members from the two organizations, volunteer dog handlers also participated and the event was followed by a catered lunch as one more way for local residents to say ‘thank you’ to area veterans.
