The New Year's Eve Bologna Drop will be held on South Eighth Street, between Chestnut and Cumberland Streets, on December 31, 2022, beginning at 10:00 p.m. with D.J. Ryan Downes playing music.
The bologna will be attached to a disco ball which will be on public display beginning at 3:00 p.m. A special thanks to E&E Metal Fabrication for designing and constructing the disco ball for this event.
The bologna will be processed at Seltzer's Smokehouse Meats. Following the festivities, Seltzer's will donate the bologna to the Lebanon Rescue Mission.
In conjunction with this event, no parking will be permitted on the Eighth and Walton Streets parking lot on December 31, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
For the safety of motorists and pedestrians, the following streets will be closed in conjunction with the event, beginning at 3:00 p.m. on December 31:
• 8th Street, Cumberland Street to Chestnut Street
• Walton Street, Gannon Street to Liberty Street

This year's event is being hosted by Lebanon Foundation and the Community of Lebanon Association. The sponsors are Seltzer's Smokehouse Meats, Eckert Seamans, Attorneys at Law, Arthur Funk & Sons, E&E Fabrication, and the City of Lebanon.
