Okay last post! ☺️

These kids did something a little different last month with the Lebanon Christmas for Tots toy fundraiser.

The kids took it upon themselves to participate in the YMCA Annual Craft Fair for the first time, and made their own jewelry and magnets from mostly found fossils and rocks from our different trips over the year. They did keep most of their sales money but also set aside 20% of their sales towards Lebanon Christmas for Tots toy purchases. Sooo….

….altogether with a match from Mom and Dad, and some extra cash in their donation jar too, it ended up totaling $130 for toy purchases! The kids had hear an ad about Toys R Us in Macys, so we decided to check it out. They really enjoyed the toy shopping there, and as a bonus we happened to be there when the Oscar Meyer We**ie Mobile was there too! 🤣 so fun!

I’m so proud of them for making room for giving to others less fortunate while they ran their craft stand 🙂 These toys will be distributed to families in Lebanon, so if anybody recognizes one of these toys, it’s from them from their hard work making and selling jewelry and magnets 😊

I have 2 posts to make about these kiddos fundraisers from the last few weeks that are long overdue! Here is the first.

Nora’s Service Dog update:

The total funds from all sources raised from the Cocoa and Cookies Charity Stand, these kiddos were able to give Nora’s family almost $5,000 towards service dog training for little Pumpkin to be a seizure alert dog!

I have been so blown away by the kindness and generosity from everyone who stopped at their stand, media staff, family and friends, total strangers offering to help…it is just so humbling to see so many people pitch in to help this family in Lebanon ❤️

Many many thanks for all the support over the years of these kids’ stands!

Hey everyone! I have 2 military flags left from the kiddos Cocoa and Cookies Charity Stand that I would love to find a home for in exchange for any donation for Nora’s service dog training ❤️ Locals, I can deliver it, or I can ship for whatever the USPS fee is. I have POW/MIA and US Air Force.

These were so kindly donated from Mike at the Lebanon VFW for this stand! Thanks again Mike Milam 😁

I promise that’s the last time we’ll suggest any more donations for this entire thing! Hehe 😁 The family’s GoFundMe page is still alive and open if anybody else would like to help the family otherwise, or just PM me and we’ll connect about it. 🙂 thanks everyone!

This is a VERY informal post because we are all exhausted over here, but altogether with Venmo donations, GoFundMe contributions, and cash donations from the hot cocoa and bake sale stand today the total is…..

$2,525 !!!! 😱😱😱 Everyone who has donated or helped in any and every way is AMAZING!!

I will follow up in a couple of days with a better post! I am so happy and grateful for everyone this week!!
