The Maker's Mark water tower, situated on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail in Lebanon, KY, is in the running for the prestigious "Tank of the Year" award! It's up against hundreds of other tanks from all across the United States. Over the next 2 weeks, our community can show their spirit & vote for their favorite. Currently, we're ranked at #11, but I'm confident that with your support and the backing of our community, we can secure the top position! 🏆 Cast your vote at https://tankoftheyear.com. The mural was painted by Eric Henn Murals. Voting ends Oct. 13.

In celebration of Black History Month, MCAHC is presenting a program: How I Got My Name. Hear William Wells Brown's story as portrayed through KY Chautauqua actor Virgil Covington, Jr. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Lebanon's United Presbyterian Church. Also featured in this event is St. Cecilia Swahili Choir! This event is for all ages and is free and open to all who would like to attend!

"William Wells Brown was an African American antislavery lecturer, groundbreaking novelist, playwright and historian. He is widely considered to have been the first African American to publish works in several major literary genres. Known for his continuous political activism especially in his involvement with the anti-slavery movement, Brown is widely acclaimed for the effectiveness of many of his writings."

We've been quiet during the pandemic but continued doing good deeds and making contributions to local charities. We're working on a future 'fun'd-raiser that will bring the Chris & Neil Day crew back together for more cheer (beer?) and acts of kindness. Stay tuned!
