Warren County Ohio CERT is a FEMA recognized Emergency Response Organization.

We serve under the jurisdiction of the Warren County Emergency Management Agency.

We are a 100% volunteer organization trained for emergency response and ready to train others.

Our training, established by FEMA, includes: emergency management practices, small fire suppression, mass casualty triage, life sustaining first aid, light search and rescue, damage assessment, etc.

As Major emergencies seem to be increasing, we need to increase the number of Trained Responders.

You, as a prepared responder in the community, can reduce the number of victims and bring aid faster to others.

On October 5, along with Butler County EMA, Ohio, assembled together to practice skills in Mass Casualty Triage and Search & Rescue. This took place at Armco Park where we conducted introductions and a drill pre-briefing.

Two teams were assembled with a leader, an amateur radio operator, and assigned a designated search area. A command center was created where the teams could report what they found and request additional aid. All simulated victims were located and received . Post drill debriefings provided valuable insights for future drills

Warren County and Butler County are planning more events in the near future.

In late July there was a tornado near the Village of Blanchester, Ohio. assisted in the removal and disposal of debris as part of the ongoing recovery process. Members assisted the American Regulators in clearing away wreckage of a barn, along with various other storm damage remains.

Warren County CERT volunteers were on hand throughout the weekend through a combination of hand work and heavy equipment. Both American Regulators and CERT are non-profit organizations dedicated to serving the community in need.
