L-Life Food Pantry The L-LIFE Food Pantry is a non-profit, volunteer ran food pantry, servicing the citizens of Lebanon and Laclede County Missouri.

We are dedicated to making stronger families by providing quality food for the food insecure in Laclede County. The specific purposes of the L-LIFE Food Pantry is to support our belief that all people in Laclede County should have access to basic needs, such as adequate food and nutrition . The L-LIFE Food Pantry will operate a food pantry as an independent, not-for-profit organization to serve th

ose who need food assistance in Laclede County. Assistance will be provided both to county residents and transients. In providing for such needs of people the L-LIFE Food Pantry does not discriminate for any reason including, but not limited to, the distinctions of race, color, religion, national origin, s*x, disabilities, or age.

Save the date for this year’s Park Party on September 19 from 11 AM–2 PM!

This community event is all about bringing families together for a fun afternoon filled with free food, inflatables, prizes every half hour, and activities for both kids and adults to enjoy.

Events like this are a chance to celebrate community, connect with neighbors, and spend time together outside of the everyday stresses life can bring.

❤️ “They truly care.” ❤️

Sometimes the hardest part of needing help is simply asking for it.

Shanna came to L-Life Food Pantry during a difficult season. Her husband’s Social Security income was not enough to cover more than their rent and car payment, and she was unemployed. She was worried about asking for assistance—but what she found at L-Life was something she needed just as much as the food: compassion without judgment.

When asked what she appreciates most about L-Life, Shanna said:

We understand that asking for help can be difficult. That's why we work hard to make every person who walks through our doors feel welcomed, respected, and valued.

On National Nonprofit Day, we want to thank everyone who continues to support this mission and help make food assistance possible for neighbors throughout Laclede County.

The impact made throughout the year would not be possible without people who care deeply about their community and continue showing up for one another. Thank you for being part of it.

💙 A Client’s Story: Hope Can Begin with One Simple Step 💙

Sometimes, all it takes is seeing a post, taking a chance, and saying… “Why not try?”

One of our clients recently shared their story with us:

“I had lost my job and didn’t know what to do. I saw a post on Facebook and said, ‘Why not try it?’”

What they found at L-Life Food Pantry was more than just food.

“Not only have they provided us with food, but they have also restored some hope for me that there are still good, caring people.”

Receiving food assistance helped take some of the pressure off and allowed this individual to use their money to pay other bills and meet other needs.

But what stood out most to them was the experience:

“How the volunteers come together and give a person an awesome experience, as well as all the food they help families with.”

And perhaps the words that touched us the most…

“Besides restoring some hope in humanity, they helped me keep living and push me forward—not to give up.”

❤️ This is why we do what we do.

Food insecurity is about more than an empty pantry. It can bring fear, stress, uncertainty, and the feeling that you are facing everything alone. At L-Life, we want every person who walks through our doors to know that they matter, that there is hope, and that their community cares.

Fresh produce continues to make its way into the pantry, and our clients are LOVING those straight-from-the-garden veggies! 🥒🍅🌽🥬

There’s just something special about being able to offer families fresh, locally grown produce — picked by our amazing farmers and shared with neighbors right here in our community. 💚
