❤️ FOOD ISN’T THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS A FOOD PANTRY RUNNING! ❤️

When you think of a food pantry, you probably think of food donations, canned goods, and helping families put meals on the table. And YES, those things are incredibly important! 🥫🍎

But did you know that monetary donations are just as important as food donations?

🏠 We have rent to pay.
⚡ We have utilities to keep up with.
❄️ We need electricity to keep our refrigerators and freezers running.
🚛 We have operating expenses that allow us to continue serving our community.

Donated food is wonderful, but we can't distribute it if we don't have a place to store it, electricity to keep it safe, and a building to serve our families!

Our goal is to build a community of monthly supporters who help keep L-Life Food Pantry running all year long. And here's the best part…

🥚 WE NEED YOUR EGG CARTONS! 🥚

Do you have empty egg cartons piling up at home? We can use them! ❤️

L-Life Food Pantry is currently in need of clean, empty egg cartons to help us package and distribute fresh eggs to our clients.

If you have cartons you'd like to donate, please drop them off at the pantry during our regular business hours. Every carton helps us get more fresh food into the hands of local families! 🥚🍳

Tackling hunger starts with the pantry staples families can use every day. This October, we're collecting practical, shelf-stable foods for our monthly food drive. A few of the items we go through fastest include:

▪️ Crackers
▪️ Canned vegetables
▪️ Pull-tab canned meats and meals
▪️ Boxed macaroni and cheese

Want to keep it simple for your neighborhood or workplace? Collect one category each week, starting with crackers, then canned goods, then boxed meals, and bring everything to the pantry at the end of the month.
