Our pantry urgently needs financial support. 🤍

Lebanon Community Food Pantry serves approximately 300 families each month throughout Russell County. We are completely community-funded and volunteer-based, and it costs approximately $1,200–$1,500 each week just to purchase groceries—before rent, utilities, and other operating expenses.

Right now, the funds coming in are not enough to keep up with the cost of serving our families each week. Without additional financial support, we will have to make difficult decisions about how much food we can purchase and provide in the weeks or months ahead.

If you are able, please consider making a one-time donation or becoming a monthly donor. Gifts of every size truly make a difference. If you cannot donate, sharing this post could help us reach someone who can.

⚠️ DONATION BOX REMINDER ⚠️

We are so grateful for every donation we receive! However, we have had refrigerated, frozen, and even raw foods left in our outdoor donation box on more than one occasion.

Recently, raw meat was mixed in with other donations and brought inside, where it unfortunately sat unnoticed for several days.

Because the box is outside, donations may not be collected immediately, and we do not have the proper storage for perishable foods, we can only accept food that is:

• Shelf-stable
• Unopened
• Within its expiration or best-by date

Please do not leave raw meat, refrigerated or frozen foods, dairy products, or anything else that requires temperature control. Shelf-stable canned meats are always welcome!

🚨GROCERY BAG DONATIONS NEEDED!🚨

We’re running low on grocery bags at the Lebanon Community Food Pantry and would love your help restocking!

We can use plastic grocery bags as well as reusable grocery bags. If you have a stash of bags at home you’ve been saving, we’d be happy to put them to good use! ❤️

Bags can be dropped off at the pantry or placed in our 24/7 donation box anytime.

A little refresh at the Lebanon Community Food Pantry! 🏠💚

We are so thankful for the Russell County Community Work Program for sending volunteers out and giving our pantry a fresh coat of paint! They put so much work into helping us brighten up our space, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

And a huge thank you to Emily Farmer for adding the perfect finishing touch by hand-painting our logo on the wall!🤍 It turned out absolutely beautiful and makes the space feel even more like ours.

Our pantry is completely community supported, and days like these are such a great reminder that serving our neighbors takes a whole community. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who gave their time and talents to make our pantry a little brighter and more welcoming for the families we serve.

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35 ❤️

Instead of spending her birthday money on herself, this sweet girl chose to use it to buy food for families in our community.

Every can, every box, and every bag represents a heart that chose to put others first. Her kindness will help put food on the tables of local families and remind us all that generosity has no age.

Thank you for your servant’s heart. You are making a difference, and we couldn’t be more grateful. ❤️
